Homestay Hosts needed to accommodate overseas students in Southampton

Opportunity Education is currently seeking warm and welcoming host families in the Southampton area to accommodate international students participating in our cultural exchange program. I understand that the Southampton Community is a vibrant community, and we believe our programme could offer a unique and enriching experience for your community members.

Our current host families, a majority of whom are aged 60 and above, have found immense joy and fulfilment in participating in our program.

  1. Cultural Enrichment: Hosts have the opportunity to learn about and share their own culture while gaining insights into the traditions and customs of students from around the world.
  2. Interpersonal Connections: Many hosts have developed lasting friendships with the students, creating a sense of extended family and companionship.
  3. Shared Experiences: Host families often engage in shared activities and outings with students, creating memorable experiences for both hosts and students alike.
  4. Global Perspective: Hosting provides hosts with a broader worldview and understanding of different cultures, fostering tolerance and appreciation for diversity.
  5. Meaningful Engagement: For hosts who are retired or have more flexible schedules, hosting students offers a meaningful way to stay active, involved, and make a positive impact.
  6. Additional Income: We offer 30 pounds per night per student.

We believe that individuals within the Southampton Community may be interested in opening their homes to these students and experiencing the many benefits of hosting. We would be delighted to collaborate with the Southampton Community to share this opportunity with your community members.

If you find this initiative aligns with the interests and values of your community, we would appreciate the opportunity to discuss potential collaboration further.

I look forward to the possibility of working together to create meaningful cultural exchanges within the Southampton Community.
