As you can see from the programme, if you do already hold a CSCS card this will not be available to you.
You also need to have a Southampton postcode.

Programme Structure – .
Training includes:
Week 1 – Employability & Industry Readiness
- Introduction to the construction industry
- Understanding site roles and employer expectations
- Emergency First Aid awareness
- Workplace behaviours and communication
- Health & Safety awareness
- Teamwork and professionalism
- CV writing and interview preparation
- Employment and progression support
Week 2 – Construction Skills & Site Safety
Delivered in partnership with an accredited construction training providers.
Candidates complete introductory construction and safety training including:
- Manual Handling
- Underground Apparatus Awareness (HSG47)
- Cable Avoidance Tools & Signal Generators
- Safe Digging Practices
- PPE Inspection and Safe Use
- Safe Use of Hand Held Power Tools
- Abrasive Wheels & Petrol Cut-off Saws
- Construction Site Safety Essentials
- The final two days focus on:
- CSCS Health & Safety preparation
- Mock testing and revision
- CSCS touchscreen test support
