Safe Home Volunteers

About this opportunity

The Blue Lamp Trust are looking for people with a passion
for helping vulnerable people in the community to deliver
talks and host stands at events to promote our free Safe
Home & Safe Online services, raising awareness and
encouraging referrals.

These services support vulnerable and older people across
Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, preventing them from
being victims of crime in the home or online, or providing
support post victimisation.

Talks and events are carried out on request, weekdays,
weekends and evenings. The commitment is not to a
specific day or number of hours, work will be allocated to suit
your availability.

Training will be provided and there will be opportunities to
shadow Safety Technicians and Safe Online Advisers to fully
understand the services offered and see firsthand the impact
our work has on our clients. Talk/Event kits will be provided.

You will be invited to attend team meetings approximately 4
times per year, via Teams or in person in Eastleigh.

Volunteers will need a car and full driving licence. Travel
Expenses will be paid.
