Bitterne Station Community Hub every Friday for fun, chat and food

Location: Citywide, SO14, SO15, SO16, SO17, SO18, SO19
Access to Food, Conservation, Nature and Animals, Fitness, Sport and Movement, LGBTQI+, Mental Health and Counselling, Older Persons Support, Social Isolation

The Community Hub is in the old waiting room at Bitterne Station, Southampton., featuring a Friday Community Hub with hot drinks, pantry and a community garden.

– The community hub came back to public use from 2024 (previously sitting empty)

– They have run events such as gigs and raves –

Regular community pantry: get food from Big difference and Co-op’s, 11- 1 on Fridays, no requirements to prove you need the food, hosted at Bitterne Station Community Hub

– The community space is available for hire

– They need more regular volunteers and they do take corporate volunteers
