Thank you to everyone who supported the project during 2025.  With the help of all those who donated toys, gifts and finance and those who gave their time to volunteer, we were able to provide a parcel of gifts to 2434 children and young people from over 1040 families.

“Thank you. I didn’t get much time to thank the person as they went off quickly. I didn’t realise it was from SCRATCH, I thought it was an Amazon delivery guy.  Please can you thank everyone on my behalf. X will love the gifts.  I’m not sure if you chose them, but it was perfect for X.”

Hello.  I would just like to say thank you so very much for delivery some toys for L, she is ever so grateful as am I.  Very much appreciated.

2. St Mary’s – Love Christmas

Deadline: Friday 20 November

This Christmas, St Mary’s Church is on a mission to spread love, kindness, and joy in our local community. From the 7th-12th December, with your help, we’re organising a week of deliveries to families and individuals across the city, making sure they have the best Christmas they can.

There’s loads of ways to get involved, and we’d love for you to partner with us!

1. Donate money to buy the gift

Every donation brings us closer to making Christmas special for our local community. Here’s how you can make a difference:

A donation of £20 provides one bag of kindness.

Provides Christmas gifts to people in Southampton, including personalised gifts for single parents and carers.

2. Volunteer for a week in December:

There’s three main ways to get involved with Love Christmas:

Setup — Getting the Love Christmas ‘Stock Room’ ready for packing
Pack – Packing the bags ready for delivery
Deliver – Taking the bags out to families across Southampton and helping spread a little Christmas cheer.

OR you can do all three if you’d like!

3. Come to one of our fundraising events:

We need to raise £30,000 to run Love Christmas this year. We know how our bags of kindness bless people, so we want to be able to give them out to everyone who needs one.
