Circles South East: Support and training for the reduction of sexual abuse/harm

About this , opportunity

At Circles South East our core aims are twofold.

  • Firstly we aim to reduce the instances of sexual abuse.
  • Secondly, we aim to assist those affected by sexual abuse in their recovery. Community volunteers are the crucial aspect in the success in these two aims we have so far achieved. We have been contributing to public protection since 2002.
  • As a Public Protection charity we work for the good of communities, the rehabilitation of sex offenders and with the various Governmental, Local Authority and Third Sector agencies who are necessarily involved. Starting with what remains are principal offering Circles of Support and Accountability we have, over the years identified, developed, trialled and introduced a range of complimentary programmes and opportunities. Some of these have been developed in partnership with commissioning bodies and some more speculatively often funded by seed finance provided by a number of trust funds with a mandate to assist development in these newly identified sectors.
  • Circles South East hold regular meetings in Shirley Southampton.
