We are pleased to announce that referrals are now open for our upcoming Get Started with Art Programme in partnership with the John Hansard Gallery, Southampton.
This programme is for NEET young people aged 16-30 who are interested in exploring the creative arts, developing new skills, and gaining insight into careers within the sector.

About the Programme
Young people will work alongside industry professionals and take part in a variety of creative workshops, building towards an exhibition at the end of the week.
Workshops will include:
- Painting
- Book binding
- Creative writing
- Other creative art activities
The programme takes place within a working gallery environment, giving young people the opportunity to learn more about careers in the arts and hear directly from professionals working in the sector.
Progression Support
Following the programme, young people will receive 3 months of mentoring support to help them progress into:
- Education
- Training
- Employment
- Volunteering
Considerations: Young people will be creating artwork using their hands. Some activities may involve the supervised use of sharps.
Provided: Lunch and travel support.
