Community Gardening Volunteers Wanted

We’re looking for volunteers to help support the local Holyrood Gardens and Allotment. This is a flexible opportunity – give as much or as little time as you can!

Tasks may include:

  • Weeding
  • Watering
  • Planting
  • General garden maintenance

Jobs will vary depending on the season and your physical abilities.

No experience is necessary, but if you do have gardening experience, we’d love for you to share it with others.

About Holyrood Gardeneers

Holyrood Gardeners has been supporting the Holyrood Estate since 2014. We are a small grassroots community group dedicated to growing fresh produce for the local community. The estate is home to almost 500 flats, making the gardens an important shared space for residents. For many families, these gardens can provide access to green space and the opportunity to connect with nature, grow food, and spend time outdoors.
