Do you know someone aged 16–25 who would like to get started in health or care?

If you know someone who has their exam results but isn’t sure what comes next, we are proud to be part of a local programme, in partnership with The King’s Trust, to help young people join health and social care careers.

 

Our Future Careers in Health and Care programme in partnership with The King’s Trust starts on 19 August in Southampton. It is designed to support people aged 16 – 25 work towards a great career in health or social care.

 

Our exciting programme will help you work towards one of 350+ different careers within health and care in Havant, Portsmouth and Southampton and is a great opportunity to:

  • Get hands-on experience to add to a CV
  • Receive personalised coaching on CV writing, applying for jobs and interviewing skills

 

Participants can also benefit from:

 

  • Pre-employment training
  • A rotation of work experience placements within a variety of hospital departments
  • Applying for the Level 2 Care Certificate and other opportunities, such as apprenticeships
  • Personalised career planning
  • Job application coaching
  • Full support throughout

 

No qualifications are needed and there are no tuition fees. Some support is available for travel and meal costs during pre-employment training and work experience.
