The Green Stories project has run 21 free competitions resulting in numerous publications: https://www.greenstories.org.uk/.
Habitat Press: a not-for-profit publisher run by volunteers to publish winners of the Green Stories competitions and other books that inspire climate action: https://habitatpress.com/. For example, half of the books on this list are published by Habitat Press https://thebookslist.com/20-fiction-books-to-inspire-climate-action/
We have great content: plays: books, newsletters and films but need to get them more widely read.
We seek someone to help us market our publications, competitions and projects. We can adjust work depending on experience, but would involve emails, social media posts, and as we have some YA books, we’d like someone who is familiar with platforms used by young people such as TikTok, Book Tok and Instagram.
We’re in touch with potential sponsors for a new Green Stories competition and have been told we’re more likely to get sponsorship if we have good marketing in place. If we’re successful then there may be opportunity for paid work.
I also work at the University of Southampton as a sustainability academic, but the work can be done from home.
