We would like to share the #NoChoice Tourette’s awareness campaign from Tourettes Action, which has recently been launched and is highly relevant to many of the services and communities we work with.
The campaign highlights that Tourette Syndrome often begins in childhood and is still widely misunderstood. This can lead to children and young people being misidentified, unsupported or unintentionally disadvantaged in education, health and community settings.
Increasing awareness and understanding can make a real difference for individuals and families, as well as for professionals working across early help, education, health and voluntary sector services.
