RELATE – counsel of marriage/relationship issues

Relate (Solent) are the UK’s largest provider of relationship support, and last year we helped over two million people of all ages, backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities to strengthen their relationships.

Relationships with family, partners, friends, and colleagues play a big part in how happy we are. Whether you’re facing difficulties, looking to strengthen your relationships, or want help thinking things through we’re here to support you.

We can help you if you’re single or in a relationship, straight or gay, young or old. Whatever your circumstances we’re dedicated to helping you get the most out of your relationships, no matter how big or small the issue.

We have centres across the UK and a network of licensed local counsellors as well as phone, email and live chat counselling.

Our services include relationship counselling for individuals and couples, family counselling, counselling for children and young people and sex therapy. We also provide friendly and informal workshops for people at important stages in their relationships.

Monday-Thursday: 8am to 8pm

Friday: 8am to 6pm

Saturday: 9am to 1pm

1. This is a paid service, and costs £30 for 30 minutes. Think you’ll need longer? Check out one session therapy.
2. This service is for individuals only, not couples or families. Relationship counselling can be booked here instead.
3. This isn’t ongoing counselling, just a one-off chat on a specific issue.
4. This service is for people in the UK only. You will need to provide a UK number.
