SoCo develops projects that engage and elevate.

We are passionate about supporting music at all levels! To make it easier to explore what we do we’ve split our work into two areas: Engage and Elevate. Engage covers our supported music-making for children, young people and vulnerable adults. Elevate is about supporting music careers, through recording, promoting, training and development, pick one of these areas below to find out more.

It’s a great space, and it’s kitted out with drums, amps and PA – everything a band needs. We’ve also got some great music tech and a pro studio set up, so we can record your songs/tracks/bars. You don’t need to book, sessions are free and you can drop in at any time at 40 Terminus Terrace, Southampton SO14 3FE

Youth Music Practitioners
We are looking for friendly and communicative individuals to join us as Youth Music Practitioners. SoCo has a number of regular music-making open-access youth sessions for 12-18-year-olds that look to support and guide the participants to express themselves creatively through music.
We’re looking for Community Music Practitioners to work on our Community Adult Learning Programme. Our Community Adult Learning Programme provides music interventions that support improvements in the health and well-being of adult groups. Our programmes include music-making for those with mental health issues, and in recovery from addiction, neurologically diverse groups, and women’s-only support programmes.
