SSEN Powering Communities to Net Zero Fund. Deadline 21 May 2026

About this opportunity

SSEN Accepting Applications for Powering Communities to Net Zero Fund

The deadline for applications is 21 May 2026.

Our Powering Communities to Net Zero fund helps communities in central southern England and the north of Scotland become more resilient in the face of our increasingly-volatile climate. It also supports the adoption of low-carbon technologies to help decarbonise communities.

Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) is offering grants of between £1,000 and £20,000 for constituted not-for-profit organisations to deliver projects that help communities in SSEN service areas to become more resilient or to support the purchase and installation of low-carbon technologies that contribute towards achieving net-zero.

Community-led physical and environmental resilience grants are for projects that create a stronger, coordinated resilience framework for local communities to mitigate the impact of, or support the local response to, a significant climate emergency, such as extended power loss or severe weather events and climate change. .
