The Connect to Work Programme

About this opportunity

The Connect to Work Programme in Southampton City Council is part of a collaborative initiative with Portsmouth City Council and Isle of Wight Council to support individuals facing barriers to employment.
• The program aims to provide tailored employment support, focusing on individuals with health conditions and complex employment challenges.
• It utilizes two proven delivery models: Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF).
• The initiative is backed by £11.5 million in funding, targeting around 3,600 individuals across the Solent region.
• The program is designed to help residents overcome employment barriers, improve their wellbeing, and access opportunities that reflect the local economy.
