The Girl’s Network in Southampton – Empowering girls and young women through education

The Girl’s Network partner with schools and colleges to provide girls and young women with mentoring, workshops, and development opportunities that help them build confidence, develop new skills, and think more positively about their future. Through these programmes, we empower them to explore what’s possible and take bold steps towards achieving their ambitions.

Volunteers: They hope to open up the service in Southampton and are requesting volunteers.  Their  next round of 1-to-1 mentoring programmes begin in October 2026, and we are accepting applications from June 1st. The application process can take up to 12 weeks, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible, to be certain of the opportunity to mentor in the autumn. To apply for volunteering visit:
