We are thrilled to announce that our MP3 Youth and Community Centre has officially reopened in Millbrook, Southampton following a significant £1.1m refurbishment. This transformation, made possible by a Government Youth Investment Fund grant, has turned the facility into a vibrant, safe, and welcoming space equipped with state-of-the-art amenities to support young people’s growth, enjoyment, and skill development.
The grand opening was marked by an official ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Satvir Kaur, MP for Southampton Test. She was joined by Terry Norton, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner, and Peter North, our Chair of Trustees, in welcoming guests and showcasing the revitalised space.
The excitement and energy of the day were palpable as visitors explored the transformed centre and saw firsthand how the new facilities will serve the community.
The Friendship Club at Brew & You Café takes place from 10.30am-12pm every Friday at our Youth and Community Centre in Millbrook at 120 Evenlode Rd, SO16 9EG. It is an opportunity for local people to come and meet other people in a social space, providing training opportunities for volunteer young people in the café.
