Treasurer

About this opportunity

We are looking to recruit a Treasurer for a well established Scout group in Hedge End. You will be part of a team of 4 trustees and you will be responsible for bank accounts, managing and monitoring finances, subs of the group and producing various reports including the annual statement of accounts.

You will be involved in approx. 3-6 meetings a year including the AGM and help the group establish itself and grow.

There will be some essential training (online) to learn about the organisations procedures and guidelines in addition to GDPR training and a DBS check.

They work with young people between the ages of 6 and 14, providing a balanced program of activities to encourage spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental well-being within the community
