“Understanding the side effects of medicines” – ONLINE Southampton Session on 4th November, 2026

About this opportunity

Have you ever wondered why medicines can cause side effects, when you should seek advice, or what questions to ask about your medication?

As part of Medicine Safety Week 2026, we’re inviting patients, carers, family members and anyone with an interest in medicines to join our online session, Understanding Side Effects of Medicines.

The session will be led by Rebecca Henry, Advanced Mental Health Pharmacist, who will explain common side effects, how to use medicines safely, and what to do if you have concerns about your medication. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the questions you can ask when starting or taking medicines.
