Volunteer Activity Helper

About this opportunity

Provide support to visually impaired people attending our activity and social groups.

 

These groups are an opportunity to meet and chat with other visually impaired people whilst enjoying a light lunch followed by games or quizzes

 

As a Helper you will offer support with:

 

  • Sighted guiding, helping attendees with coats, getting to seats etc.
  • Helping with the distribution of lunches and deserts/clearing tables afterwards.
  • Helping/joining in with games, quizzes.
  • Talking to people

About Southampton Sight

Southampton Sight aims to support those with a sensory loss to reach their full potential. We do this by providing a range of social activities, information advice and guidance sessions and access to resources and experiences that they might not normally have access to.
