Wessex Heritage Trust – Memory Box Foundation

About this opportunity

The Memory Box Foundation – part of The Wessex Heritage Trust

The Memory Box Project aims to engage, support and share memories with people living with dementia in Hampshire & Dorset. Since 2016, The Memory Box Project has delivered sessions in hospitals, care homes, day centres and other groups. We are funded by The National Lottery Community Fund which enables us to be able to offer this service free of charge to all of our groups.

The Memory Box Foundation provides much loved and valued services for older people living in our local community including:

* a Memory Box loan service to care settings for reminiscence activities.

* an intergenerational Pen Pals scheme which links young people and people living in residential care settings.

* reminiscence sessions in public spaces for over 50s.
