Newfields Gardening (SO16) looking for volunteers across various aspects of the charity

We are looking for volunteers to help support our clients with horticultural activities and arts and crafts projects. There is also the opportunity to join the Garden Maintenance team, looking after the gardens of vulnerable people across the city. We are also looking for people with a good understanding of social media and fundraising.

Newfields Gardening is a safe, happy place, purpose-built for gardening and other activities in a relaxed atmosphere.

It’s set in around an acre of garden, greenhouses, workshops and activity rooms on the west of Southampton.

Clients can choose from a range of pursuits, from growing plants and using machinery to garden maintenance, art, craft, cookery and more.

They are also encouraged to suggest their own activity ideas.
